Well, we moved into our new home in Shiloh, Illinois on December 20, 2010. We have made lots of improvements since we have moved in and are just loving it. These next couple of pictures are the newest photos since we have had our sod put in.

This was our first snow we got in the new house. We got about 4 inches on Christmas Eve. Very pretty!
We received our house hold goods on 12/21/10 and spent all week getting things unpacked and put away. Since we moved over the holidays, none of us were really in the holiday spirit. We needed to do something fast! We had the tree put up before the movers were even half way done unpacking the truck!
This made everything better! Anyhow, besides taking a break for New Years, we worked on the house. We only had two weeks before Ben left for Korea. I have a question. If Ben is serving in Korea, can I now consider myself a "real" military spouse? After almost 14 years, I am wondering if I can now say that I am? Just curious, as I was once told by a "real" military spouse that I wasn't one because my husband had never served in Iraq. Maybe Ben being gone from us for a year will now give me this prestigious title.
