Well, my friend and I went on a trip this weekend. We flew to Ireland on Friday and stayed in Dublin. We visited the Malahide Castle, the Dublin Bay, the Hard Rock Cafe, the Guinness Storehouse, and roamed all around Dublin. On Saturday we took a train to Cork and Cobh and went to the Blarney Castle and kissed the Blarney Stone. It is said to give the gift of eloquence to all who kiss it. It was so much fun.....but very wet and rainy that day! The city of Cobh is the last port of call for the Titantic and they also had a memorial to JFK there because he was born in Ireland. We drove by the Apple plant where they make all the Ipods! While walking in Ireland, we got a proper Irish greeting from a gent (we think he was trying to flirt) but he said, "Top O' the mornin to ya!" It was great. And one night while waiting for the bus, we got invited into a bar to "have a pint!" We politily declined and went to meet our bus. It was great!!! Happy St. Patty's Day!
