July 15, 2007 - Christian joined the Boy Scouts and jumped right in and went off to camp for a week! He is still there....we will update when he gets back.
July 11, 2007 - Brittney got glasses today for reading. She is a little far sighted. She seems really excited to have them though....strange hugh?
July 2, 2007 - We just got back from our trip to HolidayPark.de (fun amusement park) and then we stayed the night in the Black Forest! We went to see the largest wasserfalle in Germany and we got our Cuckoo Clock fixed! I will post all the pictures under the family link.
JUNE 2007 - Ok, so I see that I have not updated our blog in quite a while....sorry. I will try and do better.
Yes! We went skiing in June! You can see where at www.snowworld.com.
Christian picked up snowboarding like a pro and Britt did great on ski's and never even fell once! They were swooshing down like they have been doing this for years! What a blast! We have decided that we need to go back several times a year. It is only a 2½ hour drive north at the Holland/Germany border.

7/31/06 Well, today we are two weeks away from taking our trip back to the states. So, we are trying to get last minute things taken care of before we leave. We are gonna visit with Ben's family in Virginia. We will go to Bush Gardens at least one day. We are going to spend some time with friends in DC and the kids will visit the capital for their first time. Then Ben and I are flying to Montanna to see some friends (they are renewing their wedding vows). We will be there for 5 days. The kids will stay in Virginia with Ben's family. I am so excited! I will post more pictures on the website soon!
My girlfriends and I are going shopping in France next week. How cool is that. We live only about 45 min. away from the border. And in November, Ben and I are going to Amsterdam for our anniversery for the weekend. He one a top of the line mercedes rental for a weekend, so we are gonna take that and drive up there.
A few weeks ago, Billy Lane (a bike builder who has his own TV show) came to Ramstein on a USO tour to promote his new movie "Blood, Sweat, & Gears". Ben got to judge a bike show with him and show him around his shop and compound. He said that he was a real cool, laid back guy. Here is a picture:

7/1/06 Wow, sorry it has been so long since I have updated the site. We were without DSL for internet and only had dial up for about 3 months. I couldn't do much of anything with dial up. School has been crazy for all of us. The kids are finally finished and so therefore, I am finished with work for the summer....YIPEEE! I just finished my second term of college and currently have a 4.O. My third term started this week. Ben has another week or two and then he is finished with his math class. I just had surgery - a hysterectomy - on June 22. Everything went well and I am healing well.
5/31/06 Today was Ben's promotion ceremony. Marc Hernandez (1st LT) was there to help congradulate him! The next day he had to be in uniform with his new stripes - E6 - Technical Seargent. We are so proud of him!!! In this picture, you can see his new stripes just stuck on. In the ceremony, they "tack" or punch them on.
5/20/06 Today we had Brittney's 8th birthday party. Her birthday is really on the 27th, but that is Memorial Day weekend, so we always do her party the weekend before. She had tons of friends to help her celebrate. We weren't able to have it outside as planned; the weather decided not to co-operate. All was well though and they had a great time.
