Well, here we are in Virginia; FREEZING! Today I am at work, but the Ben and the kids are home....again. The kids went to school for one day last week and that was not even a full day. This week, the kids are out all week and Ben will probably have to go tomorrow. You know it is bad when the churches cancel their services and the Federal Government is closed for four days in a row.
The last weekend of January, we got about 7 or so inches of snow. Then we got dumped on the next weekend, which was the 5th and 6th of February. That "Blizzard" we were graced with 2 feet of the powdery white stuff. Just as it started snowing on the morning of the 5th, Ben and the kids made a 6 ft tall snowman who Brittney lovingly named "Peeceonburger" which is pronounced "Peace on Burger".They have had tons of fun playing in the snow and digging out big piles to make igloos. They have been sledding and shoveling. I think Ben and Christian are really tired of shoveling. I guess that is a slight trade off for not being able to go to the gym.

So, on top of the 31 inches that we had already had on the ground, we were blessed with more of the white stuff yesterday. We got an additional 6 or so inches. So, there is tons of snow! We are all kind of going stirr crazy and I can say honestly that I am enjoying being at work today. We are worried at how the school is going to handle the extra days that the kids have to make up. We are hoping that they won't have to go to school all summer, as we have a beach house to get to in July! Come on July! Well, all for now. Hope everyone else is faring the weather and being safe! We ♥ u!
