Welcome and thanks for stopping by. We decided to make this site so that all of our friends and family could keep up with us while are living so far away. We would like to share with you too and hope that you enjoy our memories. Oh, where are we, you ask? We just got back to the states in November. Ben got a new job and is working for the Pentagon. This was unexpected, but we are very excited! You may not know, but we have been in Limbo since February 2008 thinking that we would be in DC by 15 April. That time came and went and it just took the military a little extra time to get all of the kinks worked out for this new job. We are settling in nicely at our new home in Stafford, Virginia and are very excited to be able to move on with our lives. Being in limbo is terrible! We flew out of Germany on November 6, and hit the ground running! We closed on our home the next day and worked non-stop for the first couple of months to get the house up to par! Since January, we have been able to slow down a bit, just doing little things here and there. We did tackle the little powder bath on the main floor and completely re-did it. It was so great to DIY and we got finished up in early March. Have a look in our Family Scrapbook below for more stories and lots of photos of the house!
